O Heavenly Father, above all the Earth,
Resplendent and holy, of infinite worth!
Your name be it hallowed, Your grace be extoll’d;
Let us Your unspeakable beauty behold!

Lord, hasten the day when Your kingdom’s revealed,
And Earth knows the triumphant pow’r of Your will.
The bless’d Son of David we long to receive,
Shall reign here eternal, our great Prince of Peace!

You rule o’er creation with sovereign control,
And give from Your storehouse good gifts to us all.
You clothe bright the lilies, the sparrows You feed,
So, likewise provide us with bread for our need.

O Father of mercies, forgive us our sins,
And cleanse with the blood of the Sacrifice giv’n.
Oh rapture! What wonder – this love You’ve displayed!
May we forgive freely, as trophies of grace.

Lord, great are our temptings – the lure they conceive;
A net spread at midday to snare the naive.
Deliv’r us from evil, Your wandering sheep,
And lead us, Good Shepherd, by pastures of peace.
