Psalm 63
Words and Music: Jesse Rey Quesada.
O God, You are my God, I long to seek Your face.
You are my every thought, my soul thirsts for your grace.
Thus I have seen Your glorious pow'r,
And steadfast love in Death's dark hour.
I'll praise You in Your holy place!
My soul is satisfied with Your abundant love;
It comforts me at night, as manna from above.
I'll sing for joy midst suffering,
For I'm secure beneath Your wings;
Your faithful hand shall hold me up!
My soul shall cling to You; my lips shall bless Your name,
My Rock, forever true, from ages past, the same.
My flesh, it faints to see the Lamb,
Like fountains to a weary land,
And thank the One who took my shame!
Though Satan seeks my life, he shall be overcome;
God's Word shall end the fight – The vict'ry is the Son's.
Rejoice, for Christ has trampled death;
Exult with every single breath,
And praise Him for salvation's won!
