Salvation Hymn
Words: Jesse Rey Quesada & Austin Thompson. Music: Austin Thomson.
Praise Him, the One who took our place;
We had no hope to claim.
Behold the mercy of our Lord,
The Lamb, for sinners slain.
We languished 'neath sin's burden long –
Guilt growing every hour.
Now reconciled by Jesus through
His blood's eternal pow'r.
We exult in Thee;
For Thy great work we sing!
All the glory be
To Jesus Christ our King!
Hail Him, the risen Son of Man –
Death trembles in His wake –
Who once was dead, is now alive.
He’s risen from the grave!
In Christ we have been justified;
His rising does assure.
The Dayspring of our righteousness,
In whom our hope's secure.
Bless Him, our reconciling God,
Whose wrath the Savior bore;
His Spirit sent to testify,
We’re sons forevermore.
Our names inscribed upon His hands,
Can never be erased,
For we are His inheritance –
Held fast by sovereign grace.
