Above the clouded eyes of man,

Beyond the heaven’s furthest span,

When kingdoms fall, or the sparrow sings,

You are the God who sees.

Though scoffers rage and sinners plot,

Omniscience marks their every thought.

No deed escapes – every wrong perceived.

You are the God who sees.

In You alone I’ve placed my trust;

You will not leave me in the dust.

Before I ask, You know my need.

You are the God who sees.

In all my sorrow, all my grief,

I have this hope that comforts me:

That I am safe underneath Your wing.

You are the God who sees.

When my heart breaks, and hope seems lost,

You catch each tear inside Your cup.

Soon You will come, and all pain will cease.
